Japan – hippie – retro. We missed traveling so much. Time stood still .. we were reminiscing about distant Japan .. warm seas… We watched French movies of the 60s – Jane Birkin, Serge Ginsburg and were inspired by the incomparable Parisian chic of those times – this is how this collection was born.
The collection turned out to be a sensual mix of Retro, Japan, and a bit of rebellion. We did a lot of things by hand – cobalt batik with emerald, wood details, a lot of decorative stitches, edging, ribbons. Added simple mini tote bags and bucket hats, that can be worn both in the city and on vacation-they made the looks more complete.
From our travels in Japan, we took KiMono cut in various variations as a basis. The Northern Riviera inspired us with colors- from natural gray combined with white, as well as deep blue, azure, calm pink.
The fabrics of the collection consist of Italian silk, cupro, thick organic cotton gabardine, our favorite – softened linen, tweed, and organic-cotton jersey.The assortment of the collection – casually elegant trouser suits a la pajamas, two colored cotton trench coats, colorful linen sundresses, hourglass dresses, A- silhouette wrap skirts. This season we made linen shirts with silk organza details and played with tie-dye coloring. Ending with the belted summer coats and jackets made of woolen tweed.
